It's not a common thing
to meet someone like you.
It took me by surprise
and I no longer know
where to put my feet.

The Rain

I sit down by the window
The rain is falling even harder now
The damp shine from the candle barely lights up the table
Leaving the rest of the room in darkness

The whole house seem unfriendly
Staring at me
Waiting for me to move
But I sit sill
I hardly dare to breathe

Hearing the rain hit the window-frame
Sounding like it will never stop
I put my hands over my ears and close my eyes
Trying to get away

Pictures flash before my eyes
Pictures of you
You endless smile, your soft black hair
When I once again open my eyes,
The tears are unstoppable

You fade away before my eyes
Slowly
Now I sit here alone
Waiting for the rain to stop
